Teletherapy

Register Here For Video Sessions

(Betterhelp members can find me here)

Teletherapy has been found to be as effective as typical, face-to-face counseling. Video sessions allow clients to meet with a therapist from their home or other private location. This can reduce travel time and improve access for clients living in remote areas. It can also be convenient when logistics such as child care, transportation or scheduling make visiting an office more difficult.

My teletherapy sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPPA compliant platform in order to protect the privacy of client information. Through the client portal, clients can schedule appointments, make payments, send emails, keep a journal and access their video sessions.

To participate in teletherapy, clients simply need to have an adequate internet connection, computer, webcam or smart phone and assure that they are in an area that is private and free from distractions. (Due to my Kentucky state licensure, clients must also be physically located within the state of Kentucky during teletherapy sessions).

In addition to being licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have been trained and certified to perform technology assisted services in accordance with state requirements.
